How your data is handled
Privacy
This tool is designed for public product pages and marketing claims. Do not paste confidential, private, or legally sensitive material. What you paste stays private by default; we do not publish or expose it.
What you paste
Pasted text is private by default
Text you paste into the checker is treated as private input. It is not published, indexed, or made publicly visible. It is used only to generate the Claim Receipt for that session.
Pasted text is processed to create structured receipt fields
To produce a Claim Receipt, your input is sent to a language model API. The receipt stores the structured claim text, claim type, evidence signals, evidence needed, buyer questions, wording boundaries, source URL when provided, checked date, method note, and disclaimer. The full pasted input is not stored as a raw source snapshot. Analytics does not store pasted text, and receipts are not published in a directory or included in a sitemap.
Use only public marketing claims
This tool is designed for AI product pages, landing pages, and public marketing copy. Do not paste confidential documents, private internal copy, legal correspondence, personal data, or legally sensitive material.
Data processors
Language model providers
When your input is sent for analysis, it passes through OpenRouter (openrouter.ai) as the API gateway, which routes requests to DeepSeek (deepseek.com) as the language model provider. Both are US-accessible third-party services. We do not control how these providers handle data in transit or at rest. This is another reason to use this tool only for public marketing claims, not for confidential or legally sensitive material. Refer to OpenRouter's privacy policy and DeepSeek's privacy policy for their current data handling commitments.
Infrastructure
The site runs on Cloudflare's network (United States primary) and uses Supabase for receipt and event storage. Cloudflare and Supabase are independent data processors. Receipt data is stored in the region configured for the Supabase project.
Claim receipts
Receipts are unlisted by default
A Claim Receipt is generated with a short random ID. The link is unlisted — it is not published in a directory, not included in a sitemap, and not intended to be discoverable through search. You control who you share it with.
Private receipts are not indexed
Receipt pages are served with a noindex directive. They are not intended to appear in search engine results. If you share a receipt link publicly, it may be discovered by those who have the link, but it is not promoted for crawling.
Receipts are not a permanent archive
Free receipts are unlisted records for review and sharing. They are not a permanent archive and may expire or be removed for deletion, correction, abuse prevention, or product maintenance. If you need a durable record, use the print or copy actions to save a local copy.
Analytics
What analytics records
We collect minimal usage events to understand whether the tool is working: page path, traffic source, input type (URL or text), claim type, risk level, source type, receipt ID, CTA label, claim cluster, and error type. These help us know if the content-to-tool flow is working.
What analytics does not record
Analytics does not store full pasted text, full correction submissions, email body contents, or unreviewed allegations. We do not build user profiles or track individuals across sessions.
When we collect email addresses
Email addresses are only collected for waitlist and early access signups, correction follow-up where you request it, company response handling, or direct contact inquiries. Email addresses are not used for public display, marketing without consent, or shared with third parties.
Deletion and corrections
If you believe content on this site should be corrected, updated, or removed — including content that references a claim you made or a company you represent — send a request via Corrections. Include the receipt URL, Check AI Claims page URL, source URL, or waitlist email address so we can find the relevant record. We review requests before making any deletion or public page change.
